2-in-1 Resto in the Metro

Have you been near Pryce Tower lately?! If you have, then you might have heard about Ilforno Pizzas and Pastas. They serve famous Italian dishes like lasagna, ravioli, pizza and many others. I went there the other day with my classmate just before we headed to the "Back to Back to Back" concert and so I had the chance to taste their Pizza Americano and Spinach & Cheese Ravioli (Uh! Mamma Mia! Delicioso!) XD

If your taste buds are craving for some Japanese food, no need to go some place else for on the other side of the room is Sushi Dito. So if you want to feel the Japanese Zen rather than the Italian Romance you can opt to stay on the other side of the room. (Now,isn't that wonderful?!)

At present, they are still on soft opening but the quality of the food and  service are not compromised. As you can see below, they have this call device which can save you from drawing too much attention from having to clap your hands or snap your fingers just to call the attention of the waiters/waitresses. Just a push of a button and (Voila!) here comes Miss Melody (she was our perky server at that time ;), "What can I do for you,Ma'am/Sir?" :)

Asking about my ratings? Well, I'll rate them 3/5 spoons for now for I know there will still be more improvements as the day of their grand opening approaches. I will definitely be coming back soon. All the best!!! (If by chance the crew gets to read this, "Thanks for being extra nice to me ha?! Lalo na kay Miss Melody and Miss Juvy...Hala kayo...hahaha...";))

An Instant Favorite

Well, perhaps you have heard of this since they call it the "FAMOUS" Belgian Waffle, haven't you?! Forgive me but personally, I haven't.(LOL XD). We just ate at Bigby's Abreeza and we saw this bunch of people on queue so we got interested on how good it was. My family and I bought about three different flavors: Creamcheese, Blueberry, and Hazelnut. Surprisingly, it tasted sooo good. It does not taste like your ordinary waffle. It has this distinct aroma which is very pleasurable to the senses.

On the same week, I found myself craving for it. And so I went to the other branch opened at Gaisano Mall. I must say that the service is much faster and the staff are more accommodating. (Or maybe we just catched the Abreeza branch on their opening day so they're still adjusting.)  By the way, I ordered Blueberry & Creamcheese Waffle combination. It became my instant favorite!!!  :9

A Night With The Legends

Music, I believe, is synonymous with love. It is a language that our heart understands. It is something everyone can relate to no matter what age. It is something that never grows old.

Last night, I feel so blessed to have another chance to watch the Legends of Classic Music with the likes of Stephen Bishop, Michael Johnson, Joe Puerta, Nonoy Zuniga and the Side A Band here in Davao City. (Big NAMES in the music industry, right?! I wouldn't miss it for the world!!!)

Now, some might ask,"Aren't their music a little too old for you?!." Well, I'd say no since as I said, music especially from these men are timeless. There's nothing like it in this era. It's something you will never get tired of listening to as you can feel the emotions poured into those lyrics and the good vibrations that go along with the melody.I can't wait for the next legend who's going to visit Davao City.

By the way, I'd just like to share with you this picture I had with another legend, Mr. David Pomeranz. This was taken last July 2013 during their "King and Queen of Hearts" concert with Kuh Ledesma, Isabella and Jericho Rosales. I was lucky enough to get my photo taken with him and of course that autographed CD you see below. If you only knew, what I kept on blabbering when I got to talk to THE DAVID POMERANZ...hahaha...#FanGirl :D (Too bad Stephen Bishop and the other Music Legends didn't have any autograph signing like this last night. I could've bought their CDs and have one signed for my mom & dad. I know they would've loved it. Oh well, at least I got to record their songs so my folks will still get to see and hear them.)

Music really is: My Happiness. My Passion.
It comforts me. It inspires me. It motivates me. It makes me feel alive.
Music has been a big part of my life. Thank GOD for music.

Sudden Date Night (Reunited)

So glad that I was able to bond with two of my pretty cousins tonight. They really grew up to be fine young ladies (Akala mo naman ang layo ng age gap namin noh?! XD). I'm just so happy because it's not everyday that I get to see them since we're quite busy with our studies.Thank God that we were able to squeeze in this unexpected short but fun date night. Talks about faith and the future in a non-judgemental manner warms my heart. May God always guide us to the right path of life. Looking forward to more bondings with my pretty cousins! (Basta Mahipus, Gwapa! Sa walay pagdapigdapig ha?!...Hahaha...)

 Cheers for the future!

Sea Monster for Dinner

Presenting to you...Our Dinner for Tonight...

It's very timely that we had seafoods for dinner since most of my blog entries for today are water related.(Call it coincidence but we do mostly have seafoods for dinner every Sunday..hehehe) My dad is a huge fan of 'em. Every time he goes to the market, he never fails to bring 'em home.  It's like candy to his eyes.

We,here in Davao, are just so fortunate to enjoy these seafoods at a cheaper price when you compare it with other cities in the country that are far from the oceans like Manila, for example. When we have visitors from other cities, I always get to see the awe on their faces. But with this sea monster above, you'll get to catch it on my own. This one's called "Rock Lobster" (Rawr! XD)

My Giant Slide Adventure Part II

Well, this Water Giant Slide is no longer foreign to most of us as it has been popular in the pristine beaches of Samal Island, Philippines. I'm glad that I got to play with it again. It's just sad that I can no longer do the "Superman" position. It could've been more fun to do it like before but I understand that it's for our own safety. ( Maybe, I'm just too wild and adventurous.XD). So instead, I chose the  "Back-Turned" position. Don't worry, I changed back to the neutral position just before I'd land in the water..So here's how I did it..Sit, Hold, Have Fun XD!!!

Jump & Bounce!

Have u ever heard of the Water Blob?! (Yes, A Water Blob!) It's this giant balloon that is used in water parks found in other countries. Actually, I only got to see this in beach or pool - themed movies. But guess what?! I'm so happy that it's now being offered in one of the famous beaches in Samal Island,Philippines. I was fortunate enough to try it during our sembreak and I sure did have fun with it (As you can tell from my photos ;)

If you plan to try it, make sure you bring your friends along with you for you won't have anyone to bounce you off if you're alone. (I like exploring things alone but 'twas a good thing I came along with my classmates:) Like what they say, "The More, The Mannier!" (LOL,just kidding! Really,it would definitely be Merrier!) Not only would you have someone to play along with but someone to cheer you if you have second thoughts of jumping.(hahaha). Btw, you might wonder who that foreigner is below. (Nah! of course he's not my classmate. XD) We just met him there and he became our instant coach. He said he does skydiving and presented to teach us how to jump and where to land. (Good coach,I must say or is it just that we're fast learners?! Kidding!:p)

Dabawenyos' beach escapades will never be the same again. :)
